Filling special needs for
companion animals and
their owners.

While our efforts primarily go to
save dogs and cats in dire need
of medical care, we also support
programs which prevent pet
overpopulation, animal suffering
and cruelty and protect and
enhance quality of life for pets
and their owners.
~
We also support education and
programs which encourage
compassion and respect for all
life and pride in our community
values, beginning with our
children.

Pets Need Health Care, Too!
Pet owners should not have to face giving up their pets
because they can't afford their pet's medication or their
pet's need for veterinary care.  A pet's quality of life
should not suffer because an owner is temporarily
unable to provide for their pet.  Unfortunately even the
most compassionate veterinarians must provide for their
families or face not being able to provide services at all.
Animal Advocates works together with veterinarians,
compassionate individuals, and pet owners, so pets can
receive the care they need.
Colorado continues to be a leader in establishing
innovative programs for animal welfare.
Animal
Advocates of Colorado, Inc.,
a Colorado non-profit
organization, has established a pilot program for Custer
County, Colorado residents who need assistance in
providing food, health care and medications for their
pets.
Through the generosity of individual donors and grant
funds,
Animal Advocates of Colorado will provide
funding for pets in need, based upon need and
availability of funds.
If you know of someone who needs assistance, or if you
want to donate to the fund please email:
marty@animaladvocatescolorado.com

To donate online through our secure server click "Donate" above.
Leave a legacy for your pet through your will or with a
dedicated life insurance policy.
Having to give up a pet
should not be an option.

A special program supports owners
who are temporarily unable to
provide for their pets, enabling
them to keep their pets.

Today's economic crisis affects
pets whose owners must choose
between caring for their pet and
caring for themselves. Applications
for pet food and health care
vouchers are available to pet
owners who are temporarily having
difficulty providing for their pets.
Applicants must provide proof of
Custer County residency and be
committed to keeping their pets.
